system restore prob

i've restored my pc a day back....everything was running smoothly until when the restoration was almost over...i could not wait for the dialog box that says my restoration was sucessful..so i restarted my pc...but when i tried to click system restore icon,i could not open it in my first try,and then for the second time i did opened it BUT theres nothing in it.the system operation window was there but theres nothing in it.i see nothing!! what can i do?? anyway.im new here....ty:D
