I'm sure this real easy for you folks but I can't seem to find a way to set the default file view to details instead of tiles. I am using the documents (for any types of file) template. Any Ideas? Thnx

easy....first, change any folder's view to "details" (just a random folder, it doesnt matter what) then open the menu at the top of the folder called "extras", at the bottom you should see "folder options" or something like that...(Im using XP in German so I dont know the exact names)...go to the second tab over "View" and at the top you should see a box with "folder view" and two buttons, the first one should be something like "apply to all." Click it and press yes and youre all set!
