Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>general (more info?)

if you know the device type, you go to the makers website and download the
drivers
rather than using the restore disc.
and then just reinstall the drivers.

Hi. I have the same problem. Can I ask if you solved the problem and how? Or
maybe someone else can help. I have the problem without having installed any
new hardware. Unfortunately the problem started 2days before a 3mth busines
trip, so memory of the occaision/cause is lost. Cheers, Dexter
