Post subject: How do I enable background?

I corrected a virus issue and I now I can't run background. The options are gray'd out and not enabled. Is there a way to correct this or should I just reinstall windows xp.

Thanks,
Steve

What was the virus?

So you can't change the background image? Try restoring it all using a reg file. Right click on this http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/restorealldisplaytabs.reg (link) and choose Save Target As. Save it and then double click on that saved file. Choose Yes to add it to the registry. Restart and see if you can change the wallpaper now.
