I am not able to save a file from the internet. The sites are trusted. When
I click download the file box opens, and I click save to my desktop. The
path that reads on the file monolog box says
C://DocumentsandSettings/Suzy/RecentDocuments. THis happens regardless if I
try to save to hard drive, floppie, or CD. The file then downloads but it
doesnt finish, the blue line is all the way over, but the box just disappears
from the screen. I also cannot save or open an email attachment in Outlook
Express. I just had some problems on the computer that I have resolved, with
VondoFix. The spyware is gone, but the download is still an issue. Help??

Try launching windows in safe mode and re-running the spyware killer. This
has happened to me the spyware lurks somewhere in the background not
detected.

Hope this helps

Chris

I am having the same problem. When I try to download, it completes maybe half
the download (I am running IE7 on Windows XP with dial-up), then the blue
line races across and I only get half the download. I don't know how to
launch windows in safe mode- what is that?
