A program (EZBackitup) I have been using crashes (it fills memory). It has always worked until now. The website describes it's last bug fix as "files with invalid time stamps". My gut feeling is that the program needs to be utterly removed from Windows (thus resetting the timestamps?). I have tried uninstalling/installing without success. I did a search in regedit and found the following registry entry (after uninstalling it).

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftSearch AssistantACMru5603
Name: 000
Type: REG_SZ
Data: ezbackitup

I deleted the entry (after backing it up). It seems to have solved the virtual memory issue! I guess the timestamp bug occurs after a year of use, so a complete uninstall with the deletion of that leftover registry entry resets the timestamp.
