Trying to install an HP printer I inadvertantly created three versions
of the config. Two of the configs. that I do not want still have the
test file in their queues. I have tried deleting the test files and
also the printer configs. but although they are flagged as deleted
nothing has actaully been removed. How do I get rid of these please.
Many thanks - Chris Brady.

P.S. I've trie to stop the print spooler first by typing in the command
prompt: net stop spooler <enter> and this did not work.

Use Windows Explorer or My Computer to navigate to the printer spooler
directory. Then, delete all files in the directory. Restart Windows.

The default spooler directory is:
c:\Windows\system32\spool\printers

Adjust the path depending on the disk and directory of your Windows
installation.
