Yes, this is a bit tricky to visualize and frankly I don't really get
what/why you're doing whatever you're doing. If I understand correctly
what you want to do:
1. You are receiving emails with attachments.
2. You would like to be able to open the attachments.
3. The attachments are some sort of graphic files that used to open in
Paintshop Pro.
4. You don't have Paintshop Pro installed on your computer any more so
of course the attachments don't open in PSP.
5. For some reason you can see the attachments if you send the email to
yourself by forwarding it.
First, make sure you can see the normally-hidden file extensions (the
three letters after the "dot" in a file name, ex. picture.jpg) by going
to Control Panel>Folder Options>View tab and unchecking the box next to
"Hide extensions for known file types". Post back with the extension.
Second, when you receive one of these attachments instead of trying to
open it from within the email message, save it to somewhere on your
computer where you will find it.
After you post back with what the extension is, we can take this
further.

to Control Panel>Folder Options>View tab and unchecking the box next to
"Hide extensions for known file types". Post back with the extension.
Second, when you receive one of these attachments instead of trying to
open it from within the email message, save it to somewhere on your
computer where you will find it.
After you post back with what the extension is, we can take this
further.

After you post back with what the extension is, we can take this
further.
