Hi,

Proxy settings are used only when you are in a network and use a proxy
server for sharing the connection. Can you explain the scenario in which you
are in and why do you need to change the proxy settings. what were you using
earlier before posting this question.

What do you need to change them for? Internet Explorer? If so, then open the Internet Options control panel applet, then select
Connection->Lan Settings->Proxy Server.
