I personally think you missed the best - F-Secure is the A/V I use due to rapid updates and solid program function. I won't use Norton/Symantec because of the problems I have had with it, and many of the others don't take as pro-active an approach as does F-Secure, in the information I have seen. Pedro...MS has recently made available Windows Live OneCare to the public. I have been using the Beta version for over a year and I love it. After a bit of research, I am not renewing my Mcaffee subscription when it is up. I am moving to Avast. I have used AGV free for the past 2 years and have never had a virus or problem with the software. I did however manage to get a virus with Symantec Antivirus. Mcaffe I have on my PC at work and I personally don't like the interface. The "best" depends on what month and year it is, amount of RAM, apps opened, and the user's preferences and tolerance for AV overhead in a slower machine, and its affect on performance whether the machine is fast or slow to begin with.
