I have some music downloads. They are in alphabetical order. I have alot of
them so I was trying to compress each folder. For instance, Moving the A
older to the A Zip compressed folder. I hit the extract button. It started
moving the files. I then hit the canel button because I thought it would
take too long. Now I am missing all my files. They are lost. Checked the
recycle bin they are not there. So i think that they are not deleted. I
just do not know how to get my files back. Any help out there

Have you tried using the search command on the start menu? Search for files
and folders and if they are there they should show up.
Hope this helps.
