Post subject: Windows workstation login wont sync with Novell client login

Greetings wise ones,
My problem involves using an xp machine with a recent Novell client installed. A new user is granted a username ofr our network. I then go in as admin and setup a windows account of the same name. The client allows us to login to our network and then pops up a windows workstation login box with the option to sync the windows password to the novell password so you dont have to enter the same username and password twice. Normally once you sync, the next time you login to the Nov client it looks for a windows user account of the same name and if it sees it and its synced password boom- you get right into windows. Most machines this works great but on a few (I have no idea why) no matter how many times you login it wont 'remember' the username and always pops up the windows workstation login with user 'administrator' filled out. So you have to go and change the username, type your password, click (in vain) the box to sync with Novell and in you go. Everytime you login the same thing happens. The syncing is supposed to keep me from entering the same username twice, and like I said most machines it works great, but I assuming I made a glitch somewhere setting a couple of these up and I have to enter twice. Does this make sense? All help is appreciated.
