Hi guys, Just installed RC2 of Vista and still have a problem with lack of channels being detected. In Media Center 2005 I got an extra screen in the setup: Select your TV Signal Cable Satellite Antenna .... which allowed me to pick Cable and everything worked really well. However this screen seems to have vanished in Vista. Vista wants to default me to Antenna: Digital without giving me a choice to change it, and yields 0 channels when it scans. Any way of forcing Vista to use Cable (or for that matter Antenna: Analog)? Hardware is a Sony Vaio XL100 with its stock AVerMedia Hybrid TV Tuner Card, A16C (DVB-T/PAL/SECAM/FM). That would make sense but I don't get the option shown to me. I get: Set Up Your TV Signal Confirm Your Region Download TV Setup Options You are Done! (TV Signal: Antenna) The only thing I can think of is that whatever Vista downloads at the Download TV Setup Options stage for my region (Switzerland), its stating that the only TV Signal type available is Antenna Digital and not letting you use anything else. Does that make sense? Is there a way to force Vista to use a different TV Signal type? Bit of a showstopper for me really, might have to stick with MCE2005. Hi There I have the excact same problem on MCE2005. First I tried with antenna...worked fine....switched to cable, and im not able to change the "setting". Hi There I have the excact same problem on MCE2005. First I tried with antenna...worked fine....switched to cable, and im not able to change the "setting".
