Post subject: Possible Virus

Hello all. This is my dilemna: Pointer moves around screen, but when you
click on icons nothing happens. Netscape just flashes and nothing connects.
Clicking on Word will bring up hourglass display, but nothing happens. I can
not log off with PC, have to cut power off. Cutting it back on, same thing
happens.
Any help is appreciated, I'm leaning toward virus..??

Try restarting in Safe Mode. (Tap F8 repeatedly while starting) Use msconfig
to disable any unwanted startup-entries. Then examine the list of processes
in Task Manager for anything suspicious.
