Alec,
Thanks for getting back to me.
Before using TweakUI the "Mouse" link in my control panel brought up a
Synaptics touchpad options box. After installing TweakUI the "Mouse" link in
the control panel would respond with a message saying it could not find the
Synaptics driver. Also after installing TweakUI the only mouse options box I
could get to seemed to be a generic Windows driver box. Also - the touchpad
on my Dell laptop has an area in the horizontal and vertical edges that
function like wheels allowing for faster scrolling. These were disabled when
I installed TweakUI.
The bottom line is that I seemed to lose the Synaptics features of my
touchpad and they were replaced with generic Windows functions.
Thanks for your help.
- CJ
