My TV card won't work properly

Hi, I bought a new HP Media Center PC m7360n. It came with XP and Media
center, I've plugged it into the internet and upgraded to SP2 with DirectX
9.0c.
It came with an original TV card for American TV, which doesn't work here in
Kenya. It was replaced with XCESS, Philips chipset SAA 7130. When using the
software that came with it (Honestech) it gives me the error 'error
findinterface-IID_IAMTVTuner'. When using Media Center I find all channels,
but none is showing images, only sound.
I've spent about 5 days on the microsoft site and downloaded all kinds of
hotfixes and updates but without any progress.
In my old computer (running on XP SP2 with DirectX 9.0c but which doesn't
have media center) the card works fine with the original software...

If you told us what model of TV tuner card you have we should be able to tell you whether it is
supported in Vista.
