Yes that can possibly be done depending on the operating systems you use and
if you are using ntfs file system which allows you to create folder/file
permissions. XP Pro is better able to control network access since it can be
used with simple file sharing disabled which allows the user to authenticate
to the share as themselves and not guest though a user accessing a share via
the network still needs ntfs permissions if they are used to access the
