Hello, I have a question regarding mouse usage with dual monitors.

Although dual monitors sound exciting, it appears that it would cause
me to move my mouse farther than I would with a single monitor. I was
wondering if there is a way for XP to memorize 2 different mouse points
(i.e. one on each monitor). For example, I might want XP to memorize
the center point of both monitors. Then I would be able to switch
between these 2 mouse points. This would save me a lot of time, as
manually travelling that much space would be time consuming.

Interesting idea, but from my understanding a 2nd or .... monitor is
essentially an extension of the Desktop space. I'm not aware of a
feature or option that allows what you suggest. Probably the only
way to "Help" with movement would be increase the mouse pointer
acceleration value. So a rapid movement would get you into the
extended monitor space with less physical mouse movement. You
might want to post in you mouse vendor's forum (Logitech...) Also
a "Laser" mouse might help with more precise movements. I use a
Logitech MX-1000 and it performs very well.
