Does remote assistance work on a Windows 98' computer? If so, how do you use
it without having MSN or Windows Live Messenger?

You can use VNC, though.

Only thing is, there is no Mirage driver for 9x, so it's not as fast as with
2000/XP. But it's acceptable for remote troubleshooting.
