My computer will not boot up. When I press the power button, a red power
light comes up instead of the normal green light. Nothing happens, I hear
the humming sound, just nothing shows up on the screen. All my cords are
plugged in, I have no internet connection so I don't think it's a virus. It
was working fine a few days ago, then when I try to turn it on the next day,
the red light shows up. Help is appreciated.

Look in the users manual for a description of the red light. It sounds like something is broken.
