I am sure there is no good answer for this, but I noticed something very
strange.

Several weeks back I wanted to record the HBO show Entourage so I could
watch it later. I programmed the show and it recorded just fine and I watched
it.

Two weeks ago I went to record the same show (only difference was I did it
manually this time), and it came up with the "Cannot Record This Material
because the broadcaster won't allow it" message.

I figured that HBO finally just set up this interface and that is why I
couldn't record it, but last week I figured I would give it one more try as
I'm never home when the show airs and low and behold IT WORKED! Manually
again my wife started it and it recorded no problem.

Wierdness? or is there some method to this madness?

Any insight would be helpful.
