Every time I reboot, about when my taskbar is 3/4 activated, I hear an audio that says something that sounds to me like "Hard tail plus has loaded". I haven't the foggiest idea of what it's trying to tell me and if anybody can enlighten me, I'd appreciate an email response to halhanig.DeleteThis@charter.net. Thanks loads. I'm using Nortons and Webroot Spy Sweeper as well as M/S AntiSpyware. I think I'm fairly well protected against catching cold, although I suppose that anything's possible. George Are you using Internet Explorer or another browser? If Internet Explorer select Tools, Manage Add Ons. What items are listed? -- Hope this helps. It sounded that way to me, the first time I heard it. I found an answer by searching for "plus has loaded" with www.Clusty.com. Do you have a CyberPower Uninterruptable Power Supply? The voice may actually be saying "Power Panel Plus has loaded." Do you have a little flashlight battery icon in your tray (lower right corner of your screen)? If so, click on that to open UPS Management. It will show the CyberPower PowerPanelPlus, which gives information about your UPS. Click on Setup and, if you wish, you can uncheck "Play voice" and I'm guessing your voice will not be there the next time you Start or Restart. I just now noticed the request for an email response so I'll copy this to an email as well, but leave it here in case anyone else has the same question.
