Hi "NewScience":
I tried your suggestions (below) but encountered a couple of problems.
When I
right-clicked on Toolbar, the list of options, including New Toolbar, were
shaded and I couldn't access them. So I used Windows Explorer to find the
C: address you give me (below), but I couldn't find any option there for New
Toolbar. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks.

Sorry, I'm not NewScience. My recommendation is simply to drag and drop the
QL bar. Why it didn't work for you, I don't know.

Right-click on the Taskbar and check to see if the Taskbar is Locked. If
so, unlock the taskbar and do what Ken said.

My way is to create a completely separate Quick Launch for you without
changing the Default one under C:\Document and .....\Quick Launch folder

I moved my quick launch bar to the left as suggested and I really like it
that way except when I have anything opened to full screen, it's covered up.
I use this a lot to get back easily to the desktop rather than minimizing
each open window. Is there a way to keep is visible at all time, like the
task bar?
