I downloaded and installed several of the MS Powertoys including TweakUI,
Magnifier, Calculator and Virtual Desktop Manager. I eventually found most
of the utilities in the Windows\System32 folder, but have been unable to
locate the Virtual Desktop Manager. None of the executable files in that
folder have a name that seems to relate to a desktop manager. Can anyone
point me in the right direction? Thanks for any help.

From the Readme file for Virtual Desktop Manager:

Virtual Desktop Manager
Manage up to 4 desktops from the Windows taskbar. You can
choose a different background for each desktop and run
different applications on different desktops. Right click on
the taskbar, click toolbars, and then click "Desktop Manager."

That last line says it all.

Good luck

Cooter,

Have you tried looking for a .dll instead of an .exe?

Tony.
