pictures do not show at all in media center.
they did when i first used it.
But something must have changed and now every folder i loook in it reports.
No pictures were found.
I have viewed them in other picture software programs, and they are the
right format and not hidden.
Does anyone know a fix for this??

Thank you for that response!
It fixed it straight away.
I was getting anxious as it’s my boy’s birthday today and all the family are
looking forward to a slide show!!
So I posted again to try to get a response.
Once again many thanks!

If you search in this forum on "pictures" you will find quickly all the
answers, like one of the options is here

Go to START, RUN and enter REGEDIT, press ENTER
Look into HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, scroll down to JPG and JPEG entries
Select JPG or JPEG entry
On the right side you will see the PerceivedType. It should say "image"
If not there, add it by right-clicking on JPG and selecting New/String Value
Put there "PerceivedType", press ENTER
Double-click on PerceivedType, then in the dialog enter "image"

Doule-check that both JPG and JPEG have the same entry
Check if "Content Type" is as the "PerceivedType" if not - change it

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.jpg
"Content Type"="image/jpg"
"PerceivedType"="image"
