I have Office 2000 which has Outlook 2000 as a component and it's set as the
default. But I run Windows XP and would rather use the newer version of
Outlook that comes with it. How do I get rid of the old Outlook 2000? There
is no uninstall available that I can find. Or can I upgrade the outlook 2000
that is in Office to the current version through the website? Thanks

There is no newer version of Outlook that comes with Windows XP. Outlook is
not part of the operating system.

Windows XP does NOT come with Outlook. What it /does/ come with is Outlook
EXPRESS which is a completely different program.

I'm not sure what you're looking for because, the best answer is
probably Outlook 2000 is Outlook 2000, regardless of where it
came from. There won't be any difference if they are both
Outlook2000.
You might be getting Outlook and Outlook Express mixed up?
Those are two different things, similar but different. Outlook
comes with Office and Outlook Express comes with XP. Outlook is
more system oriented, Outlook Express is more email oriented.
To remove Outlook you would use the Office CD and the Setup
program. Outlook Express is part of XP by default.

time when looking for information I am asked to click on another e mail
address for more info and get a blank e mail form with no send button. How to

You can't use Yahoo as a POP email server unless you either have a
paid-for Yahoo account, or have a Yahoo UK (and Fr I think) email address.

I use Yahoo mail and pay for AT&T DSL. Yahoo mail is part of AT&t is it not?

No. Yahoo and ATT are two separate companies.
