Post subject: Outlook Express issue

Hi all
I have an interesting issue with a new PC installed for a client.
XP Pro SP2, IE 6 and all patches and hotfixes installed.
Outlook Express insists on downloading all historical emails each time it performs a Send/Receive (currently nearing 500 emails). The option to leave mail on the server is not activated and this has never been an issue before for the client.
Has anybody seen this before (I have not) or should I be looking to the ISP for an explanation?
Any views on this would be appreciated.

Cheers.

It's probably the servers fault, most likly the server is configured to never delete emails when told to by an email claint but only when told to via the web interface (asuming it has a web interface). I surgest you try it with another email client and see if the same thing happens.
