I have two questions on this post.

1.My OE 6 downloads about 3 or 4 messages,then a box appears that says
"Some errors
occured while processing the requested task",and in the window it says
"Datalink Mail could not be found". Datalink is my ISP and I`m told to
put that in my account box where you type the
names of your Incoming and Outgoing mail. Could someone tell me how to
configure
my Outlook Express 6 to work perfectly?

2. Could someone tell me how to setup a newsserver or news reader in
Outlook Express,
Hotmail or Yahoo mail, whichever is easiest. Hotmail works best for
me,but Outlook Express, or any email program
that I`ve mentioned in this post would be fine. Thank You

James

Phone your ISP's help line. Most ISPs are very helpful and assisting people
in setting up email accounts is the main thing they exist to do. Hint: be
ready with pen and paper so that when they tell you what to do, you can note
it down for future use and you won't need to call them too frequently.

Best of luck.

Since someone has given you a response on #2, I'll take a stab at #1.

It sounds like the credentials for the mail account have not been setup
properly. While you can name the account "Datalink Mail," the info for the
incoming and outgoing mail servers is usually in different format.
Something like: pop3.datalink.net and smtp.datalink.net. Some ISPs even
simplify it to mail.domain-name-here.com and mail.domain-name-here.com

Check the support pages for your ISP. They should have a page available
with the information needed to setup any email client.
