Wish to continue to use OE in ALL cases. However, whenever e-mail is to be
sent to 'x' via clicking on a web site or text in a newsgroup posting,
Outlook's editor appears, etc. Clicking 'Send' sends the message into that
bit-bucket in the sky.

How do I set OE to be the e-mail tool for ALL cases?

Kind Regards,
Wayne

Tools/General Tab...does it say that Outlook Express is the default e-mail
program? If not, there's your problem...if it does, then someone else will
have something better to suggest I'm sure...

Hi Wayne, while inside Outlook Express, go to tools options, general tab,
make sure that under Default messaging program at the bottom click on make
default! also go to Internet Explorer Tools, Internet Options, Programs..
Email, make sure that Outlook Express is the Email Client, if not use the
arrow to find it.. click apply, then ok.. Rainy

Dummy me!

A new machine with a new colpy of XP-Media. Not thinking straight. Making
OE the default took care of the problem. Thank You for the Feedback!
