Got a new Dell a month ago, with the Media Center, no problems
till this week, when I open a folder, with MP3 files or mixed media
the folder crashes
and the PC goes blank and then I get a message that Dr
Watson found I am missing NTDL.DLL. I did a search and found
this DLL in 3 different areas so I am assuming that it is not being
read at this folder or Active desktop.
Did a antivirus check, and a general SPYBOT check with no results
that would be alarming.
Is there a way to point to the NTDL.Dll from the
Windows 32 folder to have it read correctly?
Went to the Microsoft site where they said there can be a prob after
installing Service Pak 2, but this PC came with it already installed.
I don't have Service Pak 2 on any of my other computers
just because of the problems I have read it caused...and no,
I don't have this problem on any of my other computers.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you all so much.
