Open File Security Warning

If they have not, the possible cause might be zone settings for My Computer
in IE, though I'm not really sure how they have done that if they have SP2
installed. If it's intrusion prevention system, then you have sevral options
- uninstall it, disable it, configure it or get used to this

I ran into this problem on my computer as well. I am running windows xp sp2
with ie7. Click Tools > Internet Options > Security Tab > Click Local
Internet Icon > Click Sites button > Check the checkbox next to
"Automatically detect intranet network" > Finally, click OK twice to close
open windows. Not sure what causes this.

Hello Mr. Klein,

Would you be a little more specific about your issue??? can you give us in
detail what or which error msg are you receiving??? is it you are trying to
access a resource in another pc in your network?? trying to run a file in
another computer in your network??? if that is your issue, i think there is
a bug (i might say) with this check in IE7, IE6 have this check marked and
there is no problem, when you update to IE7 you get the same check marked
and you receive such a warning.

If this is your problem (unable to access a resource or file in another pc
on your network) then you should uncheck this mark (leave the other options
marked) and you will be fine.
