A dialog box opened out of the blue telling me that the Media Center Receiver
Service has encountered a problem and must close. I sent an error report to
MS. The message keeps popping up every 5 - 10 seconds. I have rebooted...
same error comes up.... tried opening Media Center live TV, but it said no
tuner was found. I closed out and reopened only to have it freeze up. I
have never had a problem before like this... ran anti-virus etc... all
clean... HELP! (please)

I am having the same problem. I am able to stop windows from poping up by
disabling the media center receiver service. I am still trying to find the
right solution so that everything can work properly.
