I need some help seting up my Xbox 360 to run with Media Center 2005. I have the Media Center Extender Manager installed on my machine and when I go to add a new Xbox 360 I keep getting the following error message: Setup Error A problem occured during Setup. Please run setup again. If the problem persists, contact your computer manufacturer for assstance. If I let the setup program choose the default settings, the program errors out right away as it is applying default settings If I choose my own settings, and choose only to setup windows media connect for xbox 360, I have no problems. If I choose my own settings, and choose only to setup media center for the xbox 360, I run into the error message if I allow the xbox to access the my documents folder. The setup errors out when permissions are being applied. If I choose my own settings, and choose only to setup media center for the xbox 360, and I choose to not make the my documents folder available, I run into the error message after I enter the eight digit key and the setup verifys the setup key, connects to my xbox 360, and then errors out as it is setting up a user account. I have checked my windows and routers firewalls but the correct ports seem to be open. If anyone has any ideas as to what the problem could be I would be forever in their debt.
