Post subject: Is it possible to MUTE the volume on the TV only?
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>mediacenter (more info?)

Sometimes I would prefer to have the TV on w/ captions and the volume off and
listen to music or conduct a video chat w/ a freind. When I click mute
button in MCE, the sound card, or the main Volume control, all 3 instances
mute the volume entirely. Is there any way around this???
