Nate:
You sound like you know what you're doing. Can you help with an intermittant
sound problem? Please look at the message thread "no sound with live tv".
Thanks.

For safety's sake, it is best to make a Restore Point before trying to
edit the registry, especially if the OP has to ask the question below.
In dealing with the registry, lack of experience can be dangerous
To the OP - we all started out from zero, so don't feel too bad
Do this *before* editing the Registry: Start -- All Programs --
Accessories -- System Tools -- System Restore, then follow the prompts
to Create Restore Point.
If there's a problem, you should be able to restore to that point to
undo it. That happens in the same place as the above.

Nate, I have been having problems with my Media Center on my computer as
well. You seem to be truly knowledgeable of how to fix the issues. I have
asked around in other forums and no one hase been able to help me. I have an
XP Media Center Edition Version 2002. Everytime I open Media Center, I get a
ehshell.exe or ehshell.crash error message. I hope you or someone can please
help me.
