Hi,
I have several windows xp machines at home. One in particular seems to have
lots of trouble after I've connected to it via remote desktop from another
machine. While using remote desktop from my notebook to my desktop everything
seems fine. But once I disconnect the notebook from my desktop, the desktop
machine is no longer responsive to mouse input. The keyboard seems to work
fine, and I have to just use the tab key to move around till I can force my
desktop to restart. Once it has restarted the mouse works just fine, until
the next remote desktop connection.
All of my machines are running service pak 2. My notebook has the media
center version of xp. The desktop machine is about 1 year old with a pentium
d 820 cpu and asus mobo.
The mouse never gets lost at any other time.
Please advise on how I can fix this.
Thanks, Derek
