Log on with Appointments or Calendar Information

I can not get the Task program to work properly under XP home.
I have been using Winodws 95-98 with an IBM program (dos) that is designed
to feture all my appointments for each day of the month . It was also
designed with a dos program that recognized the information that I had
entered to not log on if the program had previously been run for that day
when I initially logged on. I have also tried to get my LOTUS organizer
(calendar) to come up initially each time I log on with no luck. Is there a
way to get this simple task to work -automaticaaly?
