Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>mediacenter (more info?)

I am at present looking to sell my LCD TV as it does not have a conection for
linking a pc to it (and buying one that has a pc connection).

When the 360 is out ,if i use that as an extender will i get a better
picture quality that i do know as iam using s video. If i do i might hook up
the extender down stairs in the lounge and but the pc upstairs ?

It would probably be a lot cheaper to buy a video card with a DVI connection
since that is rapidly replacing VGA and almost all new LCD PC monitors come
with DVI. The only video connectin with lower Picture Quality then S-Video
is a Composite connection. Component, DVI./HDMI and VGA are all better.
