Post subject: Java Runtime
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>help_and_support (more info?)

In the process of trying to figure out why I keep getting application hangs,
I went to IE>Tools>Options>General>Settings>View Objects and saw this:
--Java Runtime --- Damaged
Java Runtime ---Damaged
15AD4789 ---Damaged
9F1C11AA-1 ---Damaged
B9191F79-5 ----Damaged
Can anyone tell me what this means to my computer? And what if anything, do
I need to do. Don't like seeing the word "damaged" anywhere on my computer.

Thanks guys.

Right-click on each object and select "Remove".
Those objects are not necessary since the programs are
already installed. The ActiveX control was the
original file transfer mechanism used for installation.
