Post subject: Internet Explorer 7 amd Media Center 2005
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>mediacenter (more info?)

I have a Computer with Windows Media Center 2005 completely patched and up to
date. Is it safe to install Internet Explorer 7 on this box? There is no
information about this that I can find in the release notes for Internet
Explorer 7.

Hello! I've same problem on my Russian MCE2005 - I can install English
IE7 and I CAN'T install Russian IE7.. I also receive "This installation
is not compatible with the current language of your operating system"
while trying to launch Russian IE7 setup.. Any help, please? Dmitry

Hello! I've same problem on my Russian MCE2005 - I can install English IE7 and I CAN'T install Russian IE7.. I also receive "This installation is not compatible with the current language of your operating system" while trying to launch Russian IE7 setup.. Any help, please?
