I have attempted to install Service Pack 2 on my Windows XP Home Edition at
least 4 different times. Each time the installation freezes when it is
updating registry keys. Any ideas how to correct this problem so that SP2
can be installed?

I installed SP2 on my XP system and when it was finished the video
settings were reduced to 16 colors at 480 X 600 resolution and it was
impossible to go higher.

I restored the system to the day before I installed SP2 and forgot alla
bout the that particular upgrade.

LOL with the updgade
