I installed the final release for IE7 and I noticed that for certain albums,
I was getting a black box instead of the album art when playing through MCE.
Everything was fine in WMP11 (also final release). Once I rolled back to
IE6, the album art was fine again in MCE.
I don't know what the correlation was between why only certain albums didn't
display their art correctly. My mp3 all have the album art embedded and
their is also a folder.jpg image in the album folder. >> Stay informed about: IE7 messes up album art in MCE 2005 |

If I understood correctly you were able to see all your album art when
running WMP 11 directly but no when doing it tru MCE2005?
I see my album art in MCE2005 when I list all my albums but when I play a
playlist, an album or any song, the album art is not displayed, i just see a
black box instead (When display cover is selected). This was your same
problem?
I want to make sure is the same problem before uninstalling IE7
Thanks in advance for your response

Rolling back is unacceptable. How do we get someone from MS to :
1. Install IE7 on their MCE machine
2. Play a song
Then they would see the problem. Do you think they all just "browse"
the cover art and then assume we are all idiots??
Hmmm
I really wish there was a way to get good information to people who
could fix it. >> Stay informed about: IE7 messes up album art in MCE 2005 |
