Typically, this type of error is caused by network router issues (though the
system validation event suggests that this might not be the case for you).
Please connect your MCX directly to your PC using a cross-over Ethernet
cable or a straight through Ethernet cable and see if this issue still
occurs (if you do the latter, toggle the MDI/MDI-X switch on the back of the
MCX to the MDI-X position).
