I have Win-XP SP2 loaded on my PC. It has Windows Messenger 4.7.3001.
Earlier with the original version of Windows XP & even SP1, I used to receive hotmail notification of new mail received via Windows Messenger. Of course I had to install an add-in.
This however, has ceased to work with a fresh installation of Win-XP SP2. And I believe the add-ins are no longer supported.
Can I download the add-in from any other site & get Windows Messenger to work by notifying me of new mails arrived via hotmail as before. I don't want to use MSN Messenger.
