Hidden folder that won't "unhide"

Post subject: Hidden folder that won't "unhide"
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>general (more info?)

I can't seem to access (or delete) a bunch of files loacted in
C:\Documents and Settings\Jeff\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK1BD
no matter what I do I can't get the OLK1BD folder to materialize

Any thougths on ths one?

Open Internet Explorer.
Click Tools | Internet Options.
Click the Delete Files button.
Click the box to delete all offline content to check it and click OK.

The other option is to logon as Administrator and delete the files from
there.

i cannot "unhide" the files and folders on my computer. when i click on the
option "show hidden files and folders" it set back to the "do no show hidden
files and folders", when i do a search i found the locations of the folders
but i cannot see the files on them.
if somebody knows wat can be hapenning it would be a great help

Only malware is interested in undoing that setting. Since that malware
has already the control over your system, it may also bypass any anti-
virus.

That's an entirely different case. The problem I was replying to is that
the option "Show hidden files and folders" (Explorer > Tools > Folder
Options > View) gets unchecked when ticked. I doubt that this was the
case concerning your system - please do not mix different problems!
