When trying to diagnose network problems by scanning my computer in Help and
support an error comes up telling me it cannot access Web Page.

I have uninstalled Help and support and reinstalled Help and support but it
will not diagnose. I am running windows XP Professional. Does anyone know the
answer to this frustrating problem???

Have you tried going online with Internet Explorer and then selecting
Help and Support.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply. If you mean going on to "Diagnose Your connection
Problem" in Tools, yes that works. However when I go on Help and Support and
try to scan my computer from there I get the Box come up saying the Web page
is unavailable.

No I have an Internet Explorer icon in my Quick Launch Tray, which I click
to go to
my Home Page BBC News. This has a time click so that I know when to refresh
if the time is wrong. Going Online before selecting Help and Support avoids
the
problem you describe. At least it does for me.

Thank you I tried that and it still came up Cannot Display the Page. It is
most puzzling I have tried every suggestion in the Help and Support section
of this Site with no luck. That's why I tried XP Performance and Maintenance
section. It looks as if I am stuck with the irritation.
