Post subject: New HDD not showing

Hi everyone.Thiis my frist time here.I have never had a problem building my
own machines.I just biult another Quad SLI machine.I have two samsung 250 Gb
HDDs. If i click on system then hardware.It shows both drives.But when I go
into my computer it only shows one. Any Ideas? I'm running XP Pro./Asus
A32-SLI Delux motherboard./ 4 gigs of ram/ Two power supplys-One from the
system & one that is for just the Quad cards,a AMD FX60 that is OCed to 2.8 /
two nVidia 7950GX2s/ the two HDDs/Two samsung 18X DVD burners,one with light
scribe/ A Hp 24" LCD/ oh yeah,a BFG 128Mb PhysXcard. I would appreciate any
help,!

The Device Manager shows hardware so it will show everything including all drives. My Computer shows software, so it will only
display logical drives, ie, only partitioned drives which have a letter assigned (formatted or not).

Use the Disk Management console (Run->diskmgmt.msc) to view the other drive and partition it.
