I live in Lubbock, TX and have been using Media Edition for almost two years
with no problems. Recently, SuddenLink Communications purchased Cox Cable in
this area. Service has not changed. We still see the same channels at the
same place as before. The other day I started to record some programs and
noticed that the channel guide didn't match my service. I went into setup
and selected my cable service - Suddenlink. The SuddenLink guide is totally
different from my channel lineup - which is really Cox Cable - and Cox Cable
is not listed as cable providor. Apparently the service in my area of Texas
is totally differnt from the Typical Suddenlink service. How can I resolve
this problem. Right now, Media Center is totally useless in West Texas. The
same problem occurs with Remote Record.
Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. >> Stay informed about: Guide is wrong |

That would be an issue best resolved by your cable company.

Contact the people at www.zap2it.com (see their web site for contact info),
as they're the ones who supply the guide to Media Center. The one time I've
contacted them with an issue, it was resolved within two days...

Hi Dana
I have similar problems with the EPG, but I live in Switzerland (Provider =
InterGGA). Is zap2it also responsible for Switzerland?
kind regards
