This is a guess, it may be allocating the same drive letter as a previous
CDROM. Try going to disk management and with the drive plugged in change the
drive letter for the USB drive. Right click "my computer" and select
"manage" then go to "disk management" you should be able to see which is the
USB drive, right click it and select "change drive letter and path".
