Hi All,

I have a XP SP1 with a hardened configuration that has disabled stored user
names and passwords (from the manage users control panel app). There is no
"Add" button. Whenever I access a network resource (when I am not logged on
to the domain) I am prompted for U/P, but there is not check box to remember
password.

I assume (perhaps incorrectly) that I can enable this functionality via the
registry. Does anyone have instructions on how to do so?

Thanks,
Scott

One thing to check is the registry key shown below and if it exists that it
has the value shown.

Steve

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\disabledomaincreds:
0x00000000
